Volunteering at United Way

Fund Raising
At our office in Chardon, Geauga United Way Services has a number of volunteer opportunities that may be of interest. Our annual campaign is always looking for individuals with fundraising experience. United Way solicitors contact area business and community leaders to support the community-wide drive. Council
Once the money has been raised, it then needs to be carefully distributed and more volunteers help to accomplish this task to ensure that limited charitable dollars are well invested in our community. Fund distribution volunteers serve on allocation panels and make these difficult decisions, and training is included in their time commitment. Volunteers agree to invest at least 60 hours a year in this work to become a part of our citizen review teams.
