United Way’s Youth Fund Distribution Committee- Empowering Youth
United Way’s Youth Fund Distribution Committee (YFDC) is a group of High School Students who help solve community problems affecting youth and collaborate with other young leaders. This committee provides a challenging opportunity to instill volunteerism in future adult leaders and identifies critical issues important to students through hands-on experiences. Students will learn about the needs of the community, particularly the needs of our youth, and the agencies addressing those issues, generate fundraising to help support agencies and programs, and research, interview and make funding decisions to distribute dollars to non-profit partners that serve youth in Geauga County.
Meeting Dates: 4 evening meetings and 2 half day interview days (you will receive an excused absence letter) dates are as follows.
